About Us
The Resurrection and Life Christian Center (RCCC) originated in 1989 when the Lord Jesus Christ called Lawrence Anthony Davis into the ministry, Pastor Davis accepted this call with a humble sprit and developed a personal and intimate relationship with Christ. This was a relationship that allowed Pastor Davis to hear his Creator’s voice and heed His instructions. As an obedient servant, Pastor Davis along with a handful of members, commenced holding services in their home in St.Louis,MO. The congregation rapidly outgrew this place of worship and after considerable amount of prayer and fasting, Pastor Davis began his search for a more adequate facility. The Lord led Pastor Davis and his flock to 1651 Redman Road, St. Louis, Missouri. The RICC church family purchased this property on August 31, 2006. Immediately after occupying this building, the membership more than doubled. Since that time, church members tabored faithfully to prepare this House of Worship for its formal dedication, January 28, 2007.
Pastor Davis, the great overseer of this ministry, diligently studies the Word of God and exudes a shepherd’s heart for Gods people. He exercises tremendous faith and has set in place the vision God has given him for his evangelist calling and the RICC. This vision includes:
- Teaching the uncompromising Word of God
- Teaching individuals how to develop an intimate relationship with God through prayer, praise, and worship
- Teaching individuals how to exhibit the character of God
- Teaching individuals to act on the Word of God through faith and
- Making disciples of men
